Splatoon 1080p 60fps? And If so what does this say about Nintendo's future titles on Wii U?

Though I could argue that technically Smash does render 3D models and stages etc. , I can see where you're coming from. I wasn't trying to convince people that it is 1080p, I was curious to see if it could be that, though it probably doesn't seem to be the case, although it would be cool if they upscaled it at least :P

Please look up what upscaled means. Of course it is upscaled or else you would only see a tiny square on your screen with big black bars on all sides. Upscaling in no way improves image quality, it just makes it bigger.

People should stop chasing the 1080p60 since clearly none of the consoles is built for that. At least when it's paired with good graphics.

Again, i'm not begging for the game to be 1080p 60fps, I hope I do not need to repeat that. I was just being curious.
