The Dreamcast is truly one of the great consoles.

For one thing, it had a ton of exclusives. Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Resident Evil Code: Veronica, Soul Calibur (a 10/10 fighting game), Jet Set Radio, Power Stone, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Seaman, Grandia 2, Samba de Amigo, Skies of Arcadia, etc. etc.

It also got GREAT multiplats like: Legacy of Kain 2, Tony Hawk 2, Quake III, Unreal Tournament, Ready 2 Rumble,
Rayman 2, etc. etc.

And its sports series blew away EAs.

The problem with the Dreamcast is even though it was a huge step ahead of the other consoles, it was also hugely outdated at the same time.

It had online play and even an online service (SegaNet), but used a 56K modem.

It had an advanced controller with VMUs, but only one analog stick and no bumpers.

It had GD-ROM discs that held 1.2 GB, but no DVD player to hold 4.5GB

Its graphics blew away PS1/N64s, but wouldn't have been great past 2002
