Technical masterpiece, server problems, but the game wasn't broken as you call it.And even with all it's problems it is still better than knack, PS+ is indeed a bit unfortunate, weather system is added by request later in the development porcess but Sony probably wouldn't let them delay it twice. Even at launch the game is still one of the highest ranked sony exclusives above the order and knack and almost at the same score as Killzone SF. The game got better over time and most people think it is awesome when they play it. If I compare that to Japan studio's master fails this is not Sony's biggest letdown let's recall the ones form Japan. The pupeteer a commercial disaster Knack a huge dissaster, a bad game which did nothing for the PS4 A team which is bussy doing nothing for over a gen by now costing more than driveclub has wihout a penny of profit. The management could get thinned down though, but in the industrie it will probably mean the developers who made the cars, tracks and actualy the whole game will be kicked while the supervisors who should have detected these problems in the first place stay where they are till october 2015. |
lol, just because other games were bad doesn't forgive driveclub's problems.
i think the biggest problem was their inability to release a ps+ version because they needed to manage their broken online. i was stoked for driveclub before release but planned on getting the ps+ version to try it out before upgrading. here we are many months later and i kind of forgot about the game entirely while waiting for the ps+ version to arrive. they should have never promised something they couldn't deliever..
...and don't knock pupeteer. platformers are, in general, poor sellers these days but pupeteer was a fantatic game. i love that game soo much.
