IP is just characters and worlds. Without the people who made the original games, most of the time, the games end up sucking. Unless Capcom is willing to bring back the original teams it's kind of a moot point imo. Nintendo sure couldn't develop games like Devil May Cry.

Nintendo could hire people to take on the games.  And they would obviously incorporate that talent that is still there.  And I bet Platinum could do great work with DMC and Nintendo has a good relationship with Platinum
