The Wii will sell over 7 million during the 10 week holiday blitz. So that would put it at 31... I expect the Wii to sell about 1.5 million a month until then, so around 9-10 million more before the holidays. So sqrl's 41 or 42 is looking good. However, supply increases could bump the number closer to where I have it. 44-46 million.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
