It has never been to this degree before. If you truly have been gaming for 30 years, you know that damn well.
The PlayStation Classics HD series for the PS3 would like to have a word with you.
Also this.
If you are ok with these Remasters, then you should be ok with microtransactions and lazy DLC as well, since you dont HAVE TO buy it.
Non sequitur. Being fine with one thing does not entail being fine with the others. That being said, I don't have a problem with DLC in an of itself, including microtransactions. I personally never had a desire to spend much on DLC, but I don't hate the idea. The only DLC I've ever bought was map packs for Halo games and now also the DLC packs for Mario Kart 8. I never felt the urge to bother with anything else, except maybe single-player expansions. I don't think DLC is always done right, and sometimes it's exploitative and abusive, but the concept in general isn't inherently undesirable. If it affects my gameplay experience, then I'll have something to complain about, but so far DLC hasn't affected me personally, and it doesn't seem to have had a negative effect on the industry.
I dont buy these year old remasters, but that doesnt stop them from getting released, now do they? I voted with my wallet and it did fuck all.
You don't buy them, they don't affect you, and there's no evidence they're negatively affecting the industry, so why get pissed off about it? I don't like Call of Duty, so I don't buy it. I also don't go online and complain about it because the existence of COD does not affect me or how I enjoy my hobby in any way.
Some people have too much money and have no clue what to spend it on, thats the problem. They ruin it for the rest of us.
How so? How does me buying TLOU: Remastered for my PS4 instead of spending more by buying a PS3 (which I don't have) to play the original PS3 version hurt your or anyone else's gaming experience in any way, shape, or form?
