Why is it horrible?

The fact you can't grab on the ledge unless you press up, I find it annoying if you are on a small level.

 

OOOooo... So that is how you grab a ledge with Dedede and his up+B... I didn't know. THANKS!

Be careful though.  Dedede won't crash down into the ground if you do the air flip instead.  Unless you know you're not hitting the ground, don't do it...

He's still vulnerable if you go crashing down...
