You need to look closer then. The PS4 has been out for 17 months.

The Last Of Us Remastered

Grand Theft Auto 5 Remastered

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Metro Redux

I could grant you these.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected

Isn't that basically a straight port?

DMC Definitive Edition

I think this one counts. Haven't checked it out yet.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition

Straight port, maybe?

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round

Cross-gen updated re-release of existing fighting game. Doesn't count.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition

Was this really even a remaster?

Resident Evil Remastered HD

20-year-old game. No retail releaes. Doesn't count.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster

Old PS2 games. Doesn't count.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

Never released on consoles and never released outside of Japan. Dubious example.

Grim Fandango Remastered

Old game. No retail release. Doesn't count.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition

Straight port. Simultaneous cross-gen release. Doesn't count.

Coming 2015:

BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend

Simultaneous cross-gen release. Port of arcade game. Doesn't count.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection

Compilation. Doesn't count unless the MCC counts.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

Yep.

Darksiders II: Definitive Edition

Yes again, as far as I can tell.

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition

Okay.

God of War III Remastered

Yes. Definite remaster.

Ultra Street Fighter IV

Doesn't really count, not really a remaster, just like all the previous fighting game examples.

So, out of 22 examples, 10 are definite retail-release remasters. The rest are either older games (sixth-gen or previous), cross-gen games, download-only games, or otherwise dubious examples, with a couple of ambiguous cases that may or may not count as "true" remasters but rather as straight ports.

Meanwhile, by the end of this year the PS4 and XBO will have accumulated between the two of them about 30 games that cannot be found on older hardware. Cross-gen games are also becoming less and less common, as I see only eight or so major retail-release games coming out from April to December this year that are coming simutaneously (or nearly so) to both current-gen and last-gen systems. 2016 is going to be all about current-gen.

So you proved me wrong by telling me that many of them are just lazy ports instead of remasters. Good job...

Resident Evil Remaster HD is not a 20 year old game. Its a HD remake of a Gamecube game. People keep telling me that Wind Waker HD is just as bad as TLOUR, well then this one should also be considered bad.

Grim Fandango came out the same year as OOT and people compare OOT3D to other remasters, so it should count as well.
