Certain creatures and bosses in general drop highly valuable upgrade materials that have one time use in that playthrough. For example, a boss's soul can be used to either upgrade or create a special weapon, unlock a spell or miracle or consume it for xp/money. After you beat the game, you'll go into new game + and it's twice as hard as the first playthrough. Each time you beat the game, it makes it harder. Gotcha! Thanks for the clarification. Definitely sounds interesting. I still think I'd probably not watch videos or read walkthroughs, by I more than understand why you would. 

 

On topic: Just watched the video...like Rol said, major clipping. That's not going to review well, is it?? Who knows. Also, what's up with the funny ladder animation? Not sure if it's the camera angle or what, but there's something definitely awkward there.
