I just got a gold Mario amiibo on eBay for $40. Sucks that I couldn't preorder in time. I don't have a Walmart near me anyway, so I knew I was going to pay 3x more for this amiibo. :-/
Got the MP10 bundle and the rest of the Mario series amiibo though. Luigi is my favorite one!
