Famicom.

Family Computer.

On NES, you bought one system that stayed the same and never changed for the entire life of the console. You went to the store, bought games that were (unless they weren't good) 100% tested and complete (no DLC) for one price. You popped the game in, you played. Simple, easy and totally different than PC.

That was what console gaming use to be... console gaming. That's the point here. That consoles have become PC "like".

How can there be so much truth to this statement and people will still come in to refute it? Oh yeah, because opinions=facts these days if enough people agree.

Once, I wanted to play Ultima 8. It was such a cool game that my roommate had on his PC. When I tried to install it it made me do things like create a boot disk, and who knows what else. I never did; I never played. A console, particularly the ones I grew up with, wouldn't make me do this. It's plug and play. Simple.
