If Wii resources went to the Wii U. Why did Retro get dragged into Mario Kart 7?
I'd also highly question Nintendo's inability to get anything out in the first half of 2013. A mini game compilation and HD version of a 2D platformer can't have been all their resources could pump out between 2010 and 2013...
