It's not like "OMG! What are we going to sell the Wii U with for 2016!!!" is something that keeps Iwata awake at night in terror. So what if they don't have some killer lineup for 2016. Provided they can slap together even 7-8 decent titles is good enough. It's really all much ado about nothing, like a short guy who gets all fussed for someone saying he's 5'2 instead of 5'3. Who cares man, you're short either way. The Wii U is what it is, it's not fooling anyone, it's not like anyone was under some impression that it was some great success and a poor 2016 may (gasp) clue them in to the truth. The fact is Nintendo's supported the Wii U better than most companies would have through 2015 it's 1st/2nd party library is virtually as good as the Wii through 2010 (maybe better honestly) which sold far, far better. Is Sony still supporting the Vita? So I think people should get off Nintendo's case. Nintendo doesn't have to do much more for the Wii U, what they've done through 2015 as is is probably more than it deserverd. |
There's just so much wrong. your words show no understanding of how a company works.
Nintendo cares a lot about wii u's sales, and they certainly will try to get much more than "3 million" a year while profiting. Their support was what most companies SHOULD do, and is certainly not "more than the system deserved" (unless you think gamers don't deserve games). Their software and hardware sales are their main source of income but you are dismissing it.
