krik, that's the biggest load of crap ever. (and considering you have ps3 selling 5 mil closer to Wii this year I don't see why you wouldn't be a Sony fanboy.)
The Wii's minimum by its birthday would be 36mil or a bit higher.
p.s.- krik, get your facts straight. The wii came out Nov-Dec 08. (dec 08 for Others.)
