I doubt it. THey did this with GT5 to GT6 as well. Personally i find this very anti-consumer and when you do it right as a new game comes out it looks like an incentive to buy the next game.
If it wasn't for the GT5 fiasco then i would probably agree with you, but in this case i dont. As i said, at least it is just Europe where it doesnt really sell well anyways. If it was america it would be a much bigger deal. But shutting a server down for a game that has only been out for like 12 months is just no regardless of how unpopular it was there.
