OT: Sounds like Cliff is trolling mobiles more than he's laughing at Nintendo, but what do I know. Demand for Super Mobile Mario seems to be decent though, so I guess paying for jumping power, items, 1-UP's etc. would be a welcomed feature. And it could definitely lead to Nintendo increasing the difficulty so they can sell more stuff.

I hope  Nintendo doesn´t fill up their games with that kind of microtransactions. I believe they would follow Pokemon Shuffle model: you can play with limited lives that refill gradually, but you can buy items that make gameplay easier or last longer before running out of tries/lives.
