I've played the Dark Soul's series and Demon's Souls. It is not only speed. Shields are missing, magic is missing, and additionally you have your weapons change mid-combat. It is obvious that this game is more of an Action game and less of an RPG (although still an Action RPG) You have less specialization before combat, and more versatility within combat. Classes are much less useful, seemingly. From the videos I've watched, all characters play similarly. Seriously, here are the classes: Standard Hunter - Saw Cleaver + Blunderbuss Heavy Hunter - Hunter's Axe + Pistol Sword & Heavy Attack Hunter - Kirkhammer + Blunderbuss Agile Hunter - Warped Twinblades + Pistol.
In the soul's games you have ten classes, and magic ones are included. All classes played very differently, while here you have classes sharing the same secondary weapon type, of which there are two. |
No link? Hmm. I'll take this as unconfirmed then. I think that they will have starting classes like in the other games (doesn't matter how many) but that mainly determined starting gear and stats. You weren't locked into a class. There's most likely an abundance of weapons/gear in the game. I don't see how you think there's less rpg elements in the game when there's no full info on it.
