I think he means with the DRM stuff, the Kinect maybe spying on you (it was a issue at the time of the xbox launch), the no re-sale of (used) games, always online to play, ect. Not to mention it being a weaker system that cost more than the competitions.
You would expect the Xbox to have horrible sales, and it still did pretty well all things considering.
I know thats mainly because microsoft did a 180, but still.... you would think more people would be weary of them after those announcements.
