I'm really not so sure the lack of HD will change anything. If casuals are the force that's driving the Wii so heavily, then I can say (as a casual person) that HD visuals, or really visuals in general, don't matter mcuh to begin with. Graphically stuff from virtual console doesnt wow me any less than the newest games on Wii, or on PS3 for that matter. The people who do in fact go nuts on those sorts of features already focus more attention on 360/PS3 anyways I imagine.
