I doubt it... what will most likely happen in this e3 is that they will focus most of the games for wiiu to launch in 2016 while having a couple of games for the 3ds to launch in holiday 2015. Then in e3 2016, they will announce their new handheld only and mainly focus on that and then launch their new handheld in holiday 2016 or spring 2017 to the west. Then at e3 2017, they will announce their new console which is significantly more powerful than the handheld which will have its own exclusives and it will launch in holiday 2017. The fusion part will come with the unified OS and there will be some first party games that are cross platform while the rest are exclusive to the said platform

Of course, if they announce nothing for the wiiu for 2016 in this e3, I am probably wrong

They can avoit droughts with just 3DS and Wii U and you expect them to develop games for a new handheld, console, QoL and mobile?

QoL won't even be a gaming platform, Mobile will hardly be taking up much develpment resources since it will basically be small teams... Having an unified OS means less development time and more games output either ways so its not like having an unified OS won't have an advantage in terms of game development... You will have significantly more games coming out with an unified OS regardless but you can still give different experiences without butchering the sales of one platform

The issue with having the same games on both platforms is that it will butcher the sales of one of the platforms cause there is no reason to buy the other platform and it will most likely butcher the sales of their console one... The reason is that most people would rather prefer having a ps5/x2 + Nintendo handheld cause it would be a better companion device like that since with ur idea, it will be getting the same games anyway hence why its a bad idea from a business standpoint.

QoL is a mistery, but for sure looks like NIntendo will likely put some resources throught its lifespam, like updates. And even if we take off, there's still mobile, handheld, console and thier new nemesis: HD. Fusion will be HD and they will face new problems, while not as terrible as HD WII U problems, it will take time.

Anyway, we have to wait until next year.
