Pretty much everybody has a PC, which would allow them to have access to a wider audience. And the typical Nintendo games aren't in need of an insane graphic card either. Many people do not buy Nintendo games because they are on consoles which they don't want to spend 200-300$ on. But if they'd create this free PC platform the sales of their games would probably increase a lot. |
Its not that simple. Most people don't use their Laptops for more then the internet and text documents. On top of that Nintendo puts strong emphasis on couch experiences like MArio Kart and Smash Bros. They could obviously find a decent size audience on PC but console would be a much better fit for them and their sales.
