QoL won't even be a gaming platform, Mobile will hardly be taking up much develpment resources since it will basically be small teams... Having an unified OS means less development time and more games output either ways so its not like having an unified OS won't have an advantage in terms of game development... You will have significantly more games coming out with an unified OS regardless but you can still give different experiences without butchering the sales of one platform
The issue with having the same games on both platforms is that it will butcher the sales of one of the platforms cause there is no reason to buy the other platform and it will most likely butcher the sales of their console one... The reason is that most people would rather prefer having a ps5/x2 + Nintendo handheld cause it would be a better companion device like that since with ur idea, it will be getting the same games anyway hence why its a bad idea from a business standpoint.
