Firstly. I doubt Zelda and X will be launch titles cause they would be shit launch titles for a new system since both would have been out for about a year
Secondly, its probably a handheld cause the press conf was mostly mobile related. Granted he didn't mention handheld specifically but he didn't mention console either but since its a mobile related press conf and he said it cause people are afraid of them leaving the dedicated gaming market, it is probably a handheld cause thats what people are afraid of
Thirdly, Zelda and X are releasing this year and NX will be announced next year (probably at e3) and either will launch by holiday 2016 or spring 2017 since the 3ds was revealed in e3 2010 and released spring of 2011
