not too shocking considering the highest rating for Mario Party on Metacritic is like early 70s. the series is one of those love it or hate it type, if you enjoy party games it can be fun but each game is so similar to the last.
not surprising, one of the few Nintendo brand games not expected to get great scores pretty much ever
