Ffx wasn't remade, it was remastered.  So basically it was a port with a higher resolution.  People want an actual remake of vii, something that doesn't look like you are playing with Legos...

The soundtrack of FFX was screwed with way too much.  Besides Contest of Aeons, there wasn't a single track that could be considered superior to the old one or at the very least questionable like say Fight with Seymour (the beginning of the song especially).  There were some tracks not messed with at all..which was an improvement on the remasters part.

Compare the remastered airship theme to the old one.  The remastered Luca theme to the old one. And that one track that plays both before you play blitzball and before a serious moment of the game.

There are instruments all out of place in most of those and the airship theme was slowed down in the strangest of ways.  It is so weird.

It's like they have no quality control because they want to try and pump out games as fast as possible.  They said they wanted to try and speed up development, but they're letting problems slip right by them.

Edit: The point being that SE obviously doesn't have it all together.  They need some serious quality control and they almost completely neglect that quality control for voice acting and writing.

The soundtrack music was superior to the music of the originals. Of course, being subjected to lesser music for over a decade you probably got used to it even though the music from the originals are clearly inferior.

Nostalgia is a strong thing. But don't let it blind and make you go against the music from the remasters. The quality was better.
