man, FFVII remake has been requested for almost 10 years now. Instead, they'll make new engines and make completely new games, they'll cost $75M....and then SE will turn around and say "an FFVII remake would be 'too expensive'" (even though everything is already in place, they just need to make an HD version) "and the demand would have to be really high to make the risk worth it".
Even though when Final Fantasy VII for PS4 was announced, the whole room blew up with excitement (prior to it being revealed to be just a PC port)
