I did think it would be more successful than the Gamecube, but not capture enough of the mainstream to break out and be a sales phenomenon. Once the generation actually started, however, it became pretty obvious that the Wii would win. Ever since March of 2007 (when it became clear that the PS3 Euro launch was not going to propel it past the Wii) I've been completely confident that Nintendo would end the generation with the most overall sales. |
PS2 and PS1 one before dominating the competition was great. BTW: I am pro-Sony. Most of the Sony fans are annoyed that Nintendo has came from no where with the success of the Nintendo Wii which has so far outsold the PS3 by 2 to 1.
