We will see I think by may Sony will have to do something by May to keep the momentum. Maybe a FFX/X2 bundle with a limited edition FF themed PS4.... that would sell like bonkers and pretty much tell FF fans now is the time to adopt. If only Sony hired me to be their marketing directer.... sigh....

I don't think Sony WILL have to do anything much for May. I think the PS4 will increase its spike/weekly averages and the XB1 will decrease its spike/weekly average. Christmas is likely to go to the XB1 again but I think that spike/weekly average will mean it won't reduce the gap anywhere near as much as it did last year.

If Sony drops the price holidays will be interesting if they do not it could look like last Holiday season with the XB1 having a stronger fall lineup sans-UC4.
