Mario, because he's never changed. He's the same badass plumber with a mustache and overalls that he's been for 30 years. He refuses to compromise.
Sonic used to be awesome. Then, he had an identity crisis, painted his arms blue and started wearing a neckerchief. He doesn't even know who he is any more.
It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P
