PS4 beating 3DS in the USA 2015!

I'm sorry but that 5th year excuse holds no weight because it didn't beat it for February plus January any other year!

 

And it's news worthy because ps4 didn't have a new model releasing. If I made a prediction thread pre xmas most people including me would have thought 3ds would be ahead after 2 months.  Incredible victory and if March goes ps4s way it's really pulled this one out of the fire.  Defeated goliath so to say. 

No one would have thought that. There's a thread here with a poll on which console would win NPD February. Over 60% voted on the PS4.

3DS isn't goliath. PS4 is.

Ps4 was David and it became the goliath.  This pretty much confirms it.  16 months after launch and it's still at launch price it just beat the top handheld of its gen. And it didn't just beat it's 5th year. It beat all of its other years January plus February too.  

 

This year was the 3ds peak regarding good starts for the year.  This comparison makes so much sense.  It was reasonably close so it's not like comparing the vita to the ps4. The 3ds actually had a chance.
