Don't get me wrong, really happy for Nintendo, been a big Nintendo fan for a long time, but did every Nintendo fan on this site have to jump down this guys throat over nothing?

Most people count 2011 as its first year because it was available for 10 months of the year, hence 5th year.

Ur right, it wasn't necessary for everybody to jump down this guys throat, but then again was it necessary for him to make a thread downplaying 3DS having a good month? Probably not, so it goes both ways.

I was saying that so far 2015 has been it's best year, but people kept saying that because the 3DS has been out for so long that or course the PS4 was going to do better.

I sort of agree with that, but the OP has said over and over and over again that his point wasn't to downplay the 3DS. He was just surprised that the PS4 has been outselling it thus far.
