I wonder if the overall U.S. sales gap between the PS4 and Xbox One will be bigger on January 1st, 2016 than it was January 1st, 2015, or smaller. Unless the Xbox One hauls an exclusive rabbit out of its hat or opts for even BIGGER deals, kind of figure that the PS4 has it in the bag until at least the end of the summer. On the other hand, Uncharted 4's delay is going to give the Xbox One a software advantage for the holidays, especially with Halo dropping, and I'd be surprised if Microsoft doesn't go full-tilt in terms of bundling again.
Would be kind of amusing, watching them pseudo-leapfrog one another year after year, keep even the winner from getting too complacent about his position.
