HBO streaming app, exclusive to Apple TV - Later confirmed as timed exclusive

So we should buy a new box for every TV channel then? The whole point is, that most  people have a streaming box or 7 already. The new HBO app was supposed to be convenient for those of us who are cable cutters. This is hardly convenient, to buy a piece of hardware for one app.

But you act as if Apple TV.. just has HBO Now.    it has a ton of other channels and its growing every few months.. Also has NetFlix, Hulu, Youtube etc..    So for $69 you get a box that does a good amount. If you have an iPad or iPhone it does even more..         This is most likely a VERY limited time exclusive thing anyway..    I am sure this will be on ROKU,  Amazon Fire TV, X1 and PS4 soon enough..   Before years end even..   or likely JUST after this season of Game Of Thrones ends..

UPDATE:  HBO confirmed this is a 3 month DEAL..  So by July we will see it on other devices..     (exactly after GoT ends lol)
