SMG is giving me carpal tunnel

I play with ecurbj all the time over his house and whatnot, and we sit hunched forwared, resting our elbows on our knees, and I've played a little bit of Zelda on the Wii, and sitting how we sit when we play Halo is just not possible.  I really don't understand that at all.  The way that you play that you described is exactly how I play all the time.  Hunched over, resting my hands/elbows on my knees.  

People are getting way too confused, possibly when they see Nintendo's ads of people standing and playing.  Like I said earlier I don't stand for anything but GH and Wii Sports. RE4, Trauma Center, SMG, SSBB, Zelda: TP, SvR, Madden, MoH:H2, and MP3 are all games i've played sitting down resting comfortably and i've never felt awkard or uncomfortable.

You play like that in games that use the sensor bar?  

Cause whenever I had to use the bar in Zelda, I had to change how I was sitting.
