I played it at Gamestop for about 25 minutes and got completely turned off by the fact my hands couldn't rest anywhere.

On a conventional controller you could rest your arms on your knees while in a sitting position, but standing up with a Wii-mote you have to always have your arms pointing out and that can have a negative impact on me.

When I get my Wii I will be using it for my friends and sisters, for multiplayer action only. My sisters can do what they want with it for all I care.

Just for me I like the conventional controller better (X360, PS3).

so when you sit down, you can't play the wii??

and, you can't rest your arms on your knees while having the wii mote controller in your hand?

I see, Ignorance is a bliss.

You can sit down, but it's a lot harder to do lots of movement with your arms how we play.

I play with ecurbj all the time over his house and whatnot, and we sit hunched forwared, resting our elbows on our knees, and I've played a little bit of Zelda on the Wii, and sitting how we sit when we play Halo is just not possible.  And I don't think I could play SMG sitting down either, but that's just my $0.02

And Neos, don't call ecurbj ignorant, he's anything but.

Right you can't play the Wii sitting down. I think you remember when I was over your crib, and we were playing Resident Evil: Umberlla Chronicles. For the love of gosh, I was standing right in front of the TV screen and the sensor bar couldn't pick up on my Wii-Mote. So I had to back up a couple of feet and just found out on to shoot, after about 15 minutes of play my arms got tired and I just dropped the Wii-mote and left.

Neos, I'm not bashing the Wii, I'm seriously backing up my claims against it. As I get use to the console, when I get a Wii. Maybe my claims will change, but going over my peeps cribs and playing it. I sense that it's a totally different experience than with a conventional controller via X360, PS3.
