Lol what? No it hasn't been the same for years... Early last year, the prices for games went up $5-$10 due to the weak dollar... Do you even know what the dollar is at right now? |
Perhaps there are regional differences. Yes, I am quite sure I live in Canada. Born and raised. In my area there has been no price hike on games or consoles. Although, with that said, the prices around here have always been slightly higher than the US. On a 60 dollar game, it's generally $65 instead, and for consoles it's generally about $50 bucks more. For indie games it varies, generally it's around that 5 to 10 percent extra.
the prices shown on that article are what they are now. The prices as far as i noticed haven't changed since the release of the Wii U. Before that I hadn't bought too manygames, perhaps it was during that time of parity that I missed out on lol. I always remember them being an extra 5-10 with the exception of when I was quite young.
Yes, it is roughly at 80 cents. Much better than the 60ish cents int the early 2000's. Almost everything stuck from those low point worth till now, even when the dollar was at $1.10is. Like I said though, there was atime when I had other worries than video games so it might have changed during that time.
As I said, I doubt it though. The dollar has been in much worse shape than it is right now and it hasn't exceeded the prices we are seeing now.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
