Open-World games are taking over the industry, but do you like this trend?

If its between open worlds and FPS, then i sure hope you are right as i'm not an FPS person.

With that said, i would like to still see semi-linar games. In particular JRPG's. I dont think they need to be open world, but i do think they should allow roaming, much lie the ps1 jrpg's of wich the FF's are the most widely known.

I just want a new Grandia and Suikoden. :(
