If it brings with it barbarism like honor killings, sharia law, and child marriage, then absolutely it should be feared.
Look at the state of affairs in countries like Afghanistan, where militant Islam reigns.
I'm not saying all Muslims support these despicable practices, plenty of them are law abiding and peaceful people, but at this point in time, fundamentalism within Islam is at a dangerous level.
