Wouldn't a recall be harmful to their already sensitive losses? Perhaps a slower intigration (one they wouldn't make too big a deal about as not to upset consumer faith in their product) and simply release a patch for already existing games. It should be a slow and discreet process that only hypes the matter to Sony hardcores who will be excited by the news, but not the general public who may already be put off by the PS3 and don't need any further deturment.
