A massive library of quality, compelling titles certinly would help. I personally love Sony, not as much as Nintendo, but still the love is there. As it stands this generation, no company is really embracing a huge library. If you exclude digital indie offerings and focus solely on physical offerings, Nintendo blows them all pretty much out of the park. I think part of the issue is Nintendo perception. If you don't believe me, look at how small the Wii U's section at Gamestop is the next time you go in. Honestly, it makes me sad :

you already know that those games in PS4 and XBOX One are 85% similar games right which 3rd party developers have created annually - COD, GTA, BF, AC, Sports games.  Plus  FF, DA:I, SM etc....    Those would sell a lot....

so Nintendo should still have those IPs someway or another. and add more value.  It is always like this since GCN i believe, Nintendo have ton of quality IPs published or developed by Nintendo but they aren't getting the 3rd party blockbuster ones.

They need the FF to be back in Nintendo.  They need to get a slice of those GTA, COD, BF, AC etc... and be part of it annually.... Exclusive 1st party = it is always Nintendo.... but 3rd parties ain't coming so Nintendo should do something about it.

Co-developed with 2nd parties might help but still we need to those blockbuster IPs.
