The best takeaway that one can gather about these two individuals is that despite having very high intelligence levels what truly matters is how they apply it. If you don't apply it, what a waste no matter what background. In some peoples case because of hardships, they don't even get a chance to use it.
Geniuses are minoriities living amongst us all and they come in many shades.

Very true... I get frustrated when I hear stuck up people claim;" im more intelligent than you, I am so much smarter."
Then I retaliate by asking;" okay if you are so bright, what are your talents? Are you a published writer, what specific things do you do that makes you supposedly so much smarter? And they come up empty-handed.. Because there is lacking of real talent and they are incapable of applying this supposed intelligence anywhere. And thus it is nothing more than smoke in the mirror.

For the most part I agree with the distate for the arrogance that comes with genius. Their talent is intelligence. The problem is without gathering skills with this intelligence its a waste of being naturally adept to whatever it is that they are a genius in. Geniuses a better when put to the test. If challenged they tend to be the ones to push the envelope.
Yeah, I agree, there are a lot of Intelligent people who waste it, because even though you're a genius, it doesn't mean one is blessed with common sense. In fact this is why EQ is actually very important today compardd to IQ. People who have a high EQ level tend to attract more people and make more money.
Musically look at Kanye West. He's a genius...but everyone cannot stand his personal opinions. He's better off just sticking to his music and making us forget we hate his guts. Thats just the thing, some genius comes with eccentricities. Johnny Depp is an acting genius with high levels of eccentricity. Hes himself and wouldnt trade it for the world.
