The gba metroids have better controls, but not better atmosphere, Super Metroid is creepy and makes you feel very lonely, like a good space terror movie , is impressive for a snes game, is not overrated imo. |
I'd go as far as to say it's impressive for any game. It has an atmosphere that rivals that of modern games like Bioshock.
