Well I am getting it. People have been bitching are graphics on consoles for years nothing changes. It looks pretty good to me. People sometimes want as you say ultra realistic when it doesn't have to be like that just look and have good game play. The public will decide that with sale of game.
People bitching about ps3 and ps2 and any other consoles are just jealous it is a Wii U exclusive, just like Bayonetta 2 was bitched about by other console owners.
