So X1 indie fans having access to more indie games is not a win? What in the world are you saying?

On the heels of every XB1 being a dev kit, Win 10-XB1 simultaneous developemnt i think indies would be fine on XB1. Heck MSFt just announced about 30 indies at GDC, it's not like Xb1 fans were starved.

My point is the fact that if I am an indie developer, why on earth would I even care about the Xb1 version until after I complete the PC or ps4 verions. At least the parity clause offered some incentive to treat Xb1 indie gamers as equals.  Personally if there was an indie I wanted that wasn't moneyhatted, I wouldn't be happy waiting an extended period to finally play it.

Remember I only speak for myself, just my personal opinion, it is ok to disagree*

Doesn't matter if XBOne fans aren't "starved". The fact is, it was a silly restriction that prevented games from coming to the platform, and now those games can come to the platform. This should not be seen in any way, shape, or form as a bad thing. You get games as opposed to not getting games. If that's "bad" or "terrible news", then you must be from Bizarro land.

And the parity clause didn't give incentive to make XBOne indie gamer to be treated as "equals". It gave them special treatment. Otherwise, a game was held hostage unless it released on XBOne first. Indie developers fund their own games. They have small budgets. Meaning they can only work on one version at a time, most times. MS said either release on our platform first or put extra stuff in our versions. Translation: you only have enough money to make one version right now, put it on the platform with the smallest audience aka the lowest chance to make a return on your investment (no return of investment = no PS4 version = bragging about an exclusive) or when you finally make a return on your investment with the other platform, instead of taking those profits to, you know....get paid for your hard work, you take that money and add extra stuff to the XBOne version. Because you were too poor to make two versions at once and we wanna feel like you care about us (being treated as "equals" as you say). Even though choosing one platform over another has nothing to do with "feelings" or shunning a demographic. It's a pure business move based on the nature of being an indie developer combined with the nature of Sony's and MSs policies.
