Sure, that presents it's chellenges, but it's probably less of a challenge than PS3 vs. 360. The main technical block is the gamepad. I'm sure Nintendo would want more use of the game pad than main menu navigation. There are benefits to being exclusive. But not many that don't involve money changing hands, when stacked up against the much greater profits that would come from being multiplatform.

All that could be true, but I don't think Square really cares for the Wii U. Kingdom Hearts III isn't coming to the Wii U as of now, but it is for Xbox One and Xbox, as far as I know, hasn't ever had a Kingdom Hearts game. I just think there's a very low chance DQXI turns out multiplatform or that SE cares enough to make it that.
