Achievements, party chat, streaming, sharing, cloud features, digital games tied to the account instead of the console, better messaging system, cloud saving, cross save, cross buy (in more games), cross platform play, free games with the subscription... The list of what they have to add is big and most of these features were already available on last gen consoles (PS360) and are even on portables like Vita right now.
