I'm not arguing whether its a shooter. However, Sony was aiming for the average shooter fan in their marketing, but it was more cinematic than anticipated. I don't think Sony was as forthcoming as they should have been with that. That's why a lot of shooting fans reviewed the game and were disappointed.

And you again missed my point about Beyond: Two Souls. The commerical lead me to believe that scene was part of the game. Not some teaser for a potential sequeal. For example, what if a Marvel movie used a scene from a teaser ending in their trailer? That could mislead people about what happens in the actual movie. Hence, that was the most interesting scene in the entirety of Beyond: Two Souls but it had NOTHING to do with actual story of the game.

Plenty of movies have used ending scenes in their trailers.  If it was an important scene (which I'm thinking the one you're talking about is if it's what I think it is) then it's not exactly unprecedented.  If they had showed the jump from Halo 2 in an ad with no context I wouldn't have minded when I got to the end.  I mean it's not something that I really care about.

People didn't like the order because it was "generic" or whatever.  In fact I'm still not sure what reviewers hated so much exactly as I've played plenty of TPS that play worse.

I actually went into Beyond looking forward to seeing how the game transitions from a relatively normal life to that post apolyptic looking scene. In reality, that never happened because that was just a teaser ending. All I'm saying is that scene shouldn't have been in the ad because its misleading of what actually occurs in the game. Some other movie/game doing something similar doesn't make it okay.

Assuming you haven't done so already, I suggest watching the Angry Joe review of The Order. I think he does a pretty good job of summing up what reviewers disliked about The Order. He still thinks the game worth an experience, but that doesn't mean it deserves a high score.
