No need to be humble homie.  You act as If these games threaten the industry.  They are niche and are throughly enjoyed by people like me.  I'm open minded and like most modern games.  

I've just been told in the past that I often come across as stating my opinion as fact, so these days I go out of my way to be clear that everything I say is just my personal preference, haha. XD

I'm all for cinematic games existing as niche products to please those who like them; it just worries me that the cinematic approach has worked its way into so many genres and franchises over the last seven or eight years. I don't want it to take hold in the games I love, because it's not my cup of tea.
