No it didn't. It shipped 3.42m in closer to a month and a half. In the next 3 months after that it shipped only 100k. After that we don't know. We do know it did less than a million in the next fiscal year. What points have you made beyond saying it is immensely undertracked? I can't be bothered to read through every comment on the Skyward Sword wall. If you have evidence post it here. Unless you are talking about the add on and being a late release which is completely inconsequential to your claim of it being undertracked. Plenty of MMOs go free to play and tend to find more success by doing it. It is basically part of the business model now to squeeze out all the boxed copies and subs you can and then go free to play. But my initial point wasn't to defend Elder Scrolls, but rather to point out how ridiculous it was for you to bring up userbase or multiple platforms when Skyrim sold more on a single platform that had a smaller userbase than the Wii. |
Did you even read any of the discussions here? The user claimed Elders Scrolls was huge and Zelda is nothing in comparison. This isn't a dick measering contest about which franchise is the biggest, it's about his ridiculous and unfair comparison. Skyrim and Zelda aren't even in the same genre lol. You know what, just don't quote me anymore, I'm out.
I haven't seen you post a single source either.
