When you die, are you sent back to the last place you saved, or are there check points? If the respawn points depend on where you where you save, I can't play and will watch a walkthrough, but if its like Pokemon where you respawn at a specific location (Pokemon Center), I'll play it without saving.

Let me check actually. You could just use save states.
